What will be permanently deleted
- Your user profile, name, avatar, and personal contact details.
- Password hashes, 6-digit PIN credentials, and stored security keys.
- Real-time GPS trip breadcrumbs, pickup/dropoff historical route tracking.
- Saved favorite locations (Home, Work, Frequent Corridors).
- Push notification tokens and marketing communication preferences.
- For Drivers: Vehicle inspection records, KYC photos, and 3D biometric scans.
What is retained and why (Legal Retention)
In compliance with statutory financial reporting laws (e.g. Federal Inland Revenue Service / tax auditing regulations in Nigeria and payment network rules):
- Completed Invoices & Tax Receipts: Transaction amounts, dates, and regulatory VAT/WHT data are retained in anonymized format for the statutory 6-year financial audit period.
- Pending Safety Disputes: If an active investigation or safety report (e.g., insurance claim, vehicular incident) is pending, records are frozen until formal resolution.
